The DACA Program: Congress, Do Your Job!

President Trump did the right thing by ending DACA.  He’s forcing Congress to do what they should be doing…..their job … Giving them six months to fix the immigration problem once and for all.

Those freaking out about the President’s actions forget the “Dream Act” is in direct violation of our constitution.  Just a reminder how our constitution works:  The Legislative branch writes the laws, not the Executive branch.  Obama, and his oversized ego, overstepped his boundaries as President by using an executive order, kicking the can down the road and never providing a solution.

With that said, we are compassionate and know the children of illegal immigrants are in a precarious position and understand their plight.  Let’s consider this:  If your parents fail to pay their mortgage and the home is foreclosed, whose fault is it?  If they fail to make car payments and the car is repossessed, whose fault is it?  Instead of blaming President Trump or citizens who struggle with the DACA act, the blame needs to be assigned to THE PARENTS, who knowingly broke the law in the first place and put their children in this uncertain position.

And what’s with the media?  Why are they calling the Dreamers “the best and brightest” in our country?  What are our children, who are here legally ... chopped liver?  What a slap in the face!

Let’s look at some facts:

*  An August 2017 study by the MPI showed only 5 percent of 832,000 DACA illegals who were older than 18 had four-year college qualifications.

*  There are 2.1 million illegal and legal immigrants convicted of crimes, but 1.2 million criminal aliens remain at large in the United States and have not been deported. Remember, the prime demographic for violent crime is young males, broadly covered by the “dream” amnesty.

*  Illegal aliens account for 13.6 percent of all offenders sentenced for crimes committed in the United States, even though they only represent 3.5 percent of the population.

*  Illegals account for 12 percent of murder sentences, 20 percent of kidnapping sentences, and 16 percent of drug-trafficking sentences.

*  DACA applies to individuals up to age 31 (as of June 2012, so 35 now) — hardly children; consequently, many Dreamers have long-since terminated their studies and most have committed multiple felonies in order to get jobs — Social Security fraud, forgery, perjury on I-9 forms, falsification of green cards and drivers’ licenses, identity theft, etc. Dreamers continue to commit these job-related crimes right up to the day their DACA status is approved, and they obtain work permits and their own genuine Social Security numbers.

We believe there should be a compromise and respectfully ask Congress to consider the following:

1) Dreamers who are working and paying taxes should be able to stay as long as they become citizens.

2) Dreamers parents’ citizenship could be streamlined; however, they should be required to repay part or all of any public assistance they received illegally.

3) Dreamers not working, not in school, having criminal records, in a gang or living off of federal assistance should not be part of the compromise whatsoever.

4) DACA system should only apply to those currently in the program.

Please Congress, the ball is in your court.
Fix this problem.
 IT’S YOUR JOB!!!!
