Faith Not Fear Leaders: Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing or Sheep Being Led to Slaughter? (Part Two - On the Inside)

The attitude towards our peaceful protest at the “Faith Not Fear” summit was enough to prove how contradictory the liberal faith leaders can be.  Bishop McElroy and others not only glared at us but refused to listen to what we had to say.  Church representatives tried to block us from being on public property and handing out much needed, truthful information regarding Islam.  When we tried to enter the church to attend the actual event, we were denied entrance with our signs – while those carrying “Faith Not Fear” signs were allowed in.  It was painfully apparent alternative views were not allowed because the truth would neutralize the fear and hate towards our citizens, law enforcement and government this event was organized to create. 

The San Diego Organizing Project (SDOP) pulled out all stops with the folder of information provided to attendees.  Inside the folder was nothing but liberal fear-mongering and misleading propaganda.

As stated earlier, there is not a MUSLIM BAN.  It’s a ban on people that cannot be properly vetted and from countries that have terrorist ties.  There have been no MASS DEPORTATIONS or MASS INCERCERATIONS – and none have been called for.  As for RACISM and RACIAL PROFILING – since when is arresting criminals racist or considered racial profiling?  Should people of color automatically be given a pass because of their race?  What about HEALTH CARE?  Citizens should have access to quality health care and those who cannot afford it should be able to get assistance; however, those who have entered here illegally don’t need access to healthcare, they already receive all services FREE at the expense of hard-working, tax-paying citizens.  Additionally, redeeming Obamacare as written goes against Catholic teachings and SDOP, affiliated with PICO, is most definitely pro-abortion.   

First off, these people are not undocumented; they are illegal aliens.  They enter our country with the full intent of breaking the law, getting false identification to access all the programs available for citizens.  They are slapping the faces of all immigrants who entered her legally and have become law-abiding, tax-paying citizens.  Granted, some who enter here illegally are not criminals, but how do we know?  They are not vetted at all, and it is a known fact many are criminals in their own countries and come here to sell drugs and commit other crimes as well.  

*What matters is that there cannot be safe neighborhoods and collaborative relationships between our communities and police if organizations and churches leaders are doing all they can to interfere with the law.  *Our criminal justice system does not disproportionally imprison people of color.  Regardless of race, if you do the crime, you do the time.  Is law enforcement supposed to have a “quota” of how many people of color can be arrested so as not to look racist?  Give me a break. *I am all for quality education for all students and before and after-school programs but not when the education system picks and chooses what part of history to teach (or manipulates the truth of history) and indoctrinates children with liberal and socialistic idealism.  *Income equality?  If that means equality for those with the same qualifications – yes, but not the same wage for a less qualified person because of gender or race.  *Living wage to provide for our families?  Yes – but thanks to the cost to taxpayers due to illegal immigration, American families are struggling because of rising taxes.  *Affordable housing, homelessness and protecting tenants’ rights?  Yes- for those living in our country legally.  Why should those violating the law be afforded the same rights as citizens?  *Quality, lowcost healthcare is a right for all citizens.  Illegal immigrants crowd our clinics and emergency rooms receiving free care, and that cost is passed on to citizens by way of higher medical costs and insurance premiums.  Also, a basic human right is the right to LIFE, but as said earlier, Obamacare as written goes against Catholic teachings and the organization sponsoring this event is tied to those promoting abortion. *Legal permanent residency?  NO!  Why should those who are fraudulently participating in our so-called shared prosperity get rewarded?  The only way they should be given legal residency is if they are required to pay back every dime they stole from the taxpayers.

 

“Weekly Act of Disruption” – Sure, let’s disrupt law enforcement from doing their jobs of protecting the citizens of our country – then sue or condemn them for not doing their jobs when someone gets killed or hurt from an illegal alien that was in sanctuary.  Why aren’t they calling for weekly acts of disruption in front of abortion clinics?   “Reform a Racially Biased System of Mass Incarceration” – What?  Since when have there been mass incarcerations?  Those incarcerated, regardless of color, committed a crime.  “Offer my home as Sanctuary” – The Church is asking people to break the law by harboring illegal immigrants?  Asking people to welcome someone into their home even though they have no clue as to who that person is or his/her background?  If they are going to ask citizens to open their doors to strangers … why not a citizen that is homeless or a young girl that is considering abortion because she has no place to go or support from her family?   “Receive Text Alerts” – Probably from an insider sworn to protect the citizens of the United States, but is going against that oath by alerting offenders of police/ICE activities.

I would also like to say to those who are just as upset as I am in regards to the influx of liberalism into our churches - the calling for lawlessness and violating the teachings of our faith: 

SILENCE IS CONSENT

The majority of parishioners are afraid to speak out against the liberal infiltration.

We can no longer afford to be the Silent Majority.

To hold our church leaders accountable and educate the misled minions, our voices need to be heard LOUD and CLEAR.

 In the Beginning

On April 19^th, a “Faith Not Fear” Summit was held in San Diego  –  a fearfest about immigration, deportation, healthcare, etc., sponsored by The San Diego Organizing Project, an Alinskyan-style community organizing group that proudly claims association with the PICO National Network – who receive funding from no other than George Soros – a promoter of socialism.  Speakers included San Diego Roman Catholic diocese Bishop Robert McElroy, and several other Catholic priests, nuns, and laity.     

I met up with a small group of Christian, country-loving, law-abiding citizens to open the eyes of

the misled minions who light candles and sing Kumbaya with liberal faith leaders instead of seeing through those leaders’ smoke and mirrors.  The faith leaders I speak of came from a variety of churches, including a Muslim Imam, but the majority of minions attending were Catholic, and the event was held in a Catholic church in the middle of a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood.    

From the moment we arrived with signs addressing illegal immigration, sanctuary cities and truths about Islam, security from the church tried to block us from being on Church property – even when we told them we had tickets to the event and some of us were members of the Catholic Diocese of San Diego.   They also tried unsuccessfully to stop us from handing out flyers about Mohammad (that contains some of the information shown here), who Muslims are taught to emulate.  We were friendly, peaceful and respectful, but that didn’t stop the hateful rhetoric from being spewed in our direction, even though the event leaders claimed that one of their goals is to “disrupt hateful rhetoric.”  Even so-called tolerant and loving priests, a nun, and the Imam contradicted themselves by throwing daggers towards us with their eyes.   

Three television stations along with the local newspaper were on hand to cover the event (or should I say applaud it).  Several of us were interviewed, and I told two of the television reporters the reason we were there was to let Bishop McElroy and other faith leaders know we are upset that they are promoting lawlessness and misleading their flocks, and that our country needs to vet immigrants before entry for national security. I also wanted to know why President Obama was not vilified for banning entry of people from the same countries banned by President Trump, and asked why a Faith Not Fear Summit wasn’t held then?  Of course, my questions were not broadcast; the only statement broadcast was the need for vetting.  See the coverage here:  CBS, FOX, NBC.  The San Diego Union-Tribune newspaper’s coverage was similarly one-sided – click HERE. 

We were significantly outnumbered, especially when the chartered buses (sponsored by SDOP), carrying dozens of parishioners, arrived– eight of us versus approximately 700.  None of us were discouraged.  In fact, as I watched and listened I grew disgusted – why?   

Catholic Church leaders should NOT: 

*Spark fear into the hearts and minds of faithful by claiming there will be mass deportations or incarcerations.  No such action has been called for.  

*Promote illegal immigration and sanctuary cities that threaten the security of citizens. 

*Support/reward illegal immigrants who are defrauding the government by accepting social services meant for citizens, overwhelming the system and paid for by law-abiding taxpayers.

*Call those of us who want a protected border and are against sanctuary cities racists or inhumane.  Nor should they call arresting illegal immigrants (for crimes committed) racial profiling.

*Stand side-by-side with a Muslim Imam whose religion commands Muslims not to befriend those outside their faith and to be ruthless towards unbelievers (Quran 48:29, 3:28, Sharia) let alone allow the mistreatment of wives (Quran 4:34, Sahih Muslim 2127). 

*Accept any assistance from organizations that support socialism and receive funding from George Soros who, since 2000,  has given Planned Parenthood more than $21 million and $3 million to the Center for Reproductive Rights.  Other Soros-funded groups include the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, Catholics for Choice, Equality Now, NARAL, the National Abortion Federation, the Human Rights Campaign, and Amnesty International.
